    Andrews Grove Park is a NYC Park and it was named for John F. Andrews (1896-1980) "to do honor to the memory of one active in the civic affairs of the Borough of Queens during his lifetime." Mr. Andrews was born in Long Island City.  Andrews Grove Park was originally set to be a school as early as 1900, but the BOE decided a school wasn't necessary!!

    The owners of Bar Henry (American) and Café Henri (French) have added Mexico to their repetroire with Casa Enrique serving cuisine influenced by Chiapas, Puebla and San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

    Cosme and Luis, brothers who opened and ran Cafe Henri in the Hunter's Point section of LIC have parterned and are running Casa Enrique.  The restaurant has sharp, clean lines and great front of house staff.  The food is creative and beautifully served.  Dishes can be altered for vegetarians.

    Casa Enrique is 2 blocks from Cafe Henri in downtown Hunter's Point, LIC.

    Gantry Plaza State Park is a 12-acre NY State Park that has been built on the Banks of the East River.  The Gantries, vestiages of NYC's manufacturing and shipping history, greet visitors to the park's piers.  The park has killer views of the East River, Manhattan skyline and NYC landmarks such as the United Nations, Empire State and Chrysler Buildings

    Murray Playground is a NYC Park named for John F. Murray (1889-1944). He was a lifetime Queens resident and a recreation supervisor for Queens parks for many years.  This playground also has a dog run and a community garden.
