The New York Irish Center

"The Center is the realization of a life long dream of many who longed for a gathering place for the Irish community throughout the New York tri-state area. We wish to serve as an easily identified Irish place, accessible from everywhere, through which every Irish and Irish-American person, and anyone who'd like to be with us, can find what they need for a full life in New York.  We are an Information Center for existing resources and will provide what is not available to meet remaining needs when possible."

The Irish Center has a Senior's lunch every Wednesday, Irish dancing classes, films, concerts.   They just hosted the wonderful Guggenheim Grotto.  The New York Irish Center's goal is to support all New Yorkers who haave a connection to Ireland, it is a gem and it is in the heart of our Hunter's Point.
