    Bruce and Irena Barlin and their mascots, Kasia and Kubuś, are delighted to invite you to Pooches Sport & Spa.

    Their 2,500 square foot facility has a custom built epoxy seamless flooring system that eliminates contamination and bacteria. They also have a state-of-art pet relief station, an anti-bacterial spray vac centralized cleaning system that eliminates waste directly into the drainage system plus an advanced air filtration system to ensure your dog returns home odor-free. The facility is fully air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter.

    An interior pet play area, partitioning large dogs from smaller ones, provides maximum fun and frolic for your canine companions while you are away at work or traveling.  For your continued peace of mind, they monitor the facility at bedtime hours via webcam from their apartment in the building that is just paw steps away from Pooches.

    48th Avenue & East Side of Vernon Blvd.

    Vernon Boulevard Dog Run is 10,000 square feet.  It has a gravel surface and separate areas for large and small dogs.  The run also has drinking fountains for dogs (and their owners).  It is supported by Queens West Development Corporation and the NYS Parks Department.
