“Art comes from inside you. It comes from your heart and your soul” ~ Moustafa Abdur Rahman
Moustafa Abdur Rahman had his first exhibition in fourth grade in Egypt where he displayed 40 water color paintings. In college, he studied electrical engineering. After migrating to the United States in the late 80s, Moustafa worked for Toshiba America. He then started his own business selling and fixing office supplies like copy machines and printers.
Moustafa spent his spare time making art using different mediums. Sometimes he would use material found on the street. He tries to find new uses for things and believes that artists shouldn’t stick to any rules. Artists should come out with something that has never been created before.
Nabil Rahman is a multimedia storyteller who graduated from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism. His work can be seen at nrahman.com or pineappleandmilk.com.
